When our son was born 9 weeks early, my husband and I were so scared. Karin was one of the amazing nurses at the Providence Portland NICU who helped us navigate the first 5 weeks of our little Eli’s life. Her compassion, kindness and gentle touch with our baby put us at ease. She took time to connect with us, reassuring us during this unexpected beginning to parenthood.
