I want to thank the staff of Providence for quickly, effectively and compassionately responding to my heath care situation. I arrived at Providence’s ER with a serious hand injury and infection, which required surgery and many steps to prevent infection and to recover use of my hand. It was a difficult five days and four nights with pain and being alone was challenging. But every step I was cared for by fine physicians and nurses who willingly discussed and entrusted me with various treatment options.

I felt respected. I want to cite the caregivers who were especially attentive, intelligent, and responsive, as well as intuitive and wise: Garrett and Carissa. These caregivers stood out not only for good old fashioned medical judgment, they stood out because they respected me and had compassion for my mental pain and confusion. Thank you. - Joshua
